In 1983, Doreen Fraser and Ida Zifkin established a Centre for the senior members of the community to gather for a meal, enjoy each other’s company, and organize social activities. The royal couple actually drove Morris Street and passed Spencer House as the senior members, and the children of the South End Community Day Care, waved.
