Our first BBQ and dance of the summer was a hit! There was a big crowd of friendly and familiar faces at the centre who warmly welcomed our two new Friday volunteers. We served BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch, with ice cream sundaes for dessert. After lunch a DJ set up cool lights and played great music for us to dance to in celebration of the beginning of Summer. We had a ball dancing the conga line, macarena, and grooving along to songs suggested by members. It was a ball watching everyone let loose, groove, and sing along. Stop by every Friday for a BBQ lunch and sundae dessert, followed by an afternoon of singing karaoke!
