Do you offer home services or delivery?
No. Happy at Home Halifax does not provide services directly. Our navigation line helps connect you to services that exist in the community.
Is the service free?
Yes. The navigation service is free.
Who can contact the navigation line?
Anyone can reach out with questions related to seniors’ needs in Halifax Regional Municipality. This includes seniors, caregivers, family members, and service providers. You do not need to be over 55 to contact us.
What area do you cover?
We support people living in Halifax Regional Municipality.
Do you have set operating hours?
There are no set call-in hours. If your call is not answered, please leave a message. The navigator will respond as soon as possible, in the order requests are received. Calls are often returned in the evening when people are more likely to be available.
What kinds of things do people contact you about?
People reach out with all kinds of questions, big and small. Common topics include transportation, technology, recreation, and community supports. No question is too small or too complicated.
