DOG OF THE SUMMER
This summer, we’re inviting dog lovers across the city to join in some tailagging fun! August is National Dog Month, so we're hosting a contest to crown our very first Spencer House Dog of the Summer! Does your-legged friend have what it takes to win?
How To Enter

Visit the Dog House
Visit the Dog House Photo Station outside Spencer House (5596 Morris Street), on the sidewalk!
02.
Take a Pic
Take a photo of your dog in front of the dog house.
03.
Post It!
Post it on Instagram or Facebook.
How To Win
To win, dogs must earn the most points. Points are gathered through likes, nominations, and donations.
At the end of the summer, on September 22, the top 3 point-earning dogs will be presented to Spencer House members for a final vote to crown the Spencer House Dog of the Summer!

Each Like = 1 Point
Every like, both Facebook and Instagram, equals one point!
Nominations
1 Nomination = 5 points
Tag a friend in your pics comments, if they post a pic of their dog and cite your nomination you both get an additional 5 points!
Donations
$1 = 1 Point
For added points, you can earn 1 point for every dollar you donate to Spencer House

The Winner's Prize
The winning dog will receive a special prize pack featuring a one-of-a-kind personalized bandana, homemade treats from our Spencer House Market, official Spencer House merchandise, and some local goodies for their human, too! It's our way of celebrating the top dog — and their biggest fans.
The #1 prize, being the reigning Spencer House Dog of The Summer 2025! Your photo will be displayed on our website, social media and within our center!
