My mom visited Spencer House for the first time today. She got to see all the center has to offer, and meet all of the lovely members, volunteers, and staff as well. I feel fulfilled because I got to witness connections being made between my mom and the seniors, whom I both value greatly! Her visit started a conversation within my family; how needed seniors drop in centers are, as we don’t have one in my home community.
Spencer House offers so many benefits such as: a nutritious hot meal served everyday, socializing, opportunities to be accessibly psychically and mentally active, to name a few examples. Seniors everywhere deserve a place like Spencer House!
