Kim is one of our kitchen volunteers. Kim is at the centre every Friday, although you are likely to see her visit throughout the week and take on other volunteer roles as well. Kim has been a great help to everyone here, so let's get to know her.
How long have you been volunteering at Spencer House?
“I have been volunteering since December 2021”
What is the most rewarding part of being a Spencer House volunteer?
“Meeting new people and new friends”
What should people know about Spencer House?
“That it is a safe environment for everyone. It is inviting and warm here. Spencer House offers so many programs for everyone- not just seniors. The staff, volunteers, and members are great. They take care of seniors here.”
What is a fun fact about you?
“I am very family oriented. I love to quiet and stay active.”
